May 9,
Our female rabbit 'Honey' has had seven baby bunnies today.
Right now you can't tell what their color is,they just dark and light patches.
They all look some what like mice because of their lack of fur.

but unlike mice,they do not make any noise at all,not even when their mother steps on them.


May 16,
Another of our females had babies two days ago,but this rabbit is sadly not as great a mother as the first.
I moved her only living baby to the better mother
Honey.

May 29,
We have just got back from a weeks vacation in Colorado and are shocked to see how big the bunnies have grown.
They are brown and white in color and have the pattern of a Dutch rabbit,just like their father.

The bunnies no longer stay put in their nest box,they hop none stop all over the cage pestering their mother.
Each bunny dose not seem to mind being held and maybe even likes it.

Their names are Peter,Fruitcake,Marbles,
Chevy,Benz,Sky and White Stripe Hopper.We have still to think of a name for the last one.

June 6,
Today I gave the bunnies a shallow dish of water because they were hogging their mothers water bottle.
To my surprise This dish of water has fastly became their favorite play toy.
instead of drinking the water they crowd around it and stick their paws in it!

The bunnies have also found their mothers only place to get away from them,the flat roof of their nest box.
The nest box itself is a foot high by almost two feet long.
It is hard to believe those little bunnies can jump that high.

We tried to let the bunnies hop around in the grass today,who knew those bunnies that are little more than a hand full could run so FAST.good thing a cat wasn't around.
